First-ever center for basic research with a global focus on epidemiology of human lactation opens in Shanghai

Fudan University, Tongji University and the Family Larsson-Rosenquist Foundation have jointly established the Larsson-Rosenquist Foundation Shanghai Breastfeeding Research Center (LRF SBRC), in association with the Children’s Hospital of Fudan University and the Shanghai First Maternity and Infant Hospital.

The first of its kind, the LRF SBRC will host four endowed professorships and investigate critical questions surrounding breastfeeding-related physiology and best practices linked to the long-range health of mothers and children worldwide.
