New TEP grants for early career researchers: applications open 1 August in honor of World Breastfeeding Week!
This year’s theme is ‘Protect Breastfeeding: A Shared Responsibility’.
Breastfeeding is the single most effective intervention to improve a baby’s health and chance for a better life. Yet despite decades of investment, breastfeeding rates are still frustratingly low: millions of women and families worldwide don’t have the support they need to provide breastmilk to their children. It’s time for new ideas to accelerate progress.
New ideas are exactly what emerge from Trainee Expansion Program grant recipients. This is why we and ISRHML recharged TEP for five more years, offering two types of grants – up to USD $10,000 or up to USD $100,000 – to early career researchers in human milk and lactation.
