LactaPedia: New online glossary of lactation for science and medicine

LactaPedia – a new, open access online glossary of lactation for science and medicine – goes live!

The language of lactation, which includes ‘breastfeeding’ and ‘breastmilk’, can differ widely, causing confusion for healthcare providers, mothers, researchers and others.

To create consistency and eliminate confusion arising from conflicting terminology, The University of Western Australia and FLRF developed LactaPedia – A glossary of lactation for science and medicine.
