Investigating intrauterine growth and childhood behavior outcomes

How does intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR) – when fetuses do not grow optimally during pregnancy – impact neurodevelopment and later-life behaviors?  

This is exactly what researchers at the Larsson-Rosenquist Foundation Center for Neurodevelopment, Growth and Nutrition of the Newborn, Department of Neonatology (LRF NGN) seek to learn by launching a systematic review.

“The results of this systematic review will provide guidance for practice and counselling for clinicians and therapists facing patients affected by IUGR and their families,” they write.
